Leah Isaacs

Filled with positive energy and attention to detail, Leah will welcome your visit or call to Arium with a smile. Leah serves as the company liaison for troubleshooting inquiries and concerns and is equipped with a specific focus on customer service.

Integrating an eclectic conglomeration of office experience, she is well versed in marketing, accounting, advertising, bookkeeping, and human resources.

Leah incorporates a very general philosophy into all things specific – “Just be nice, and everything else will take care of itself!”

Always enjoying a challenge and supporting charity where she can, Leah hopes to continue competing in annual races such as “Tough Mudder” and “Warrior Dash.” As a licensed Certified Pool Operator, she volunteers her summertime evenings to help manage her community pool, and offers her services to the Wilde Lake Swim Team whenever possible. Leah strives to bike, roller blade, walk, or engage in any activity she can to stay outside!

Lauren DeWitt

Lauren joined the Arium team in October 2005, bringing her experience of adaptive reuse design and eagerness to continue her passion for all aspects of architecture. Her portfolio consists of a variety of projects, including business and medical offices, charter schools, training centers, dormitories, movie theaters, SCIF, retail, and warehouses.

She has more than nine years of architectural design experience collaborating with clients to provide stimulating, yet functional, work environments. She strives to complete projects in a timely manner, but still maintain a level of detail to provide a finished package.

In her free time, Lauren loves spending time with her husband in the great outdoors, whether it be hiking, camping, jogging, biking, kayaking, playing softball, or walking her two dogs. She loves to travel and explore new places. She is an active volunteer for Dogs XL Rescue, a non-profit, Baltimore-based dog rescue, as an adoption coordinator, foster parent, and record administrator. She is an avid sports fan who roots for the Baltimore Orioles, Baltimore Ravens, and the San Diego Chargers. Go teams!

Kristin Moore

Kristin joined Arium in 2016 and has become instrumental across all aspects of the architectural design process. Through her past experience working for a design/build firm that focused on high-end residential, Kristin developed a strong sense for how spaces interact as well as how occupants interact with the space.

Kristin’s approach towards design requires that in order for a space to be considered successful it can’t just be beautiful, it has to work. With this in mind she is able to listen to a clients’ desires and then create an environment that exceeds visual expectations while anticipating future needs.

During the weekend you can find her curled up with a book or baking something to satisfy her sweet tooth. She also spends time writing her own fictional stories and hopes to one day have a novel or two published.

Kevin Murray

Kevin is an Architect Senior Project Manager.Kevin has experience working on various scales and types of projects. His expertise is diverse with involvement in both vacant space fit outs and new construction projects.

Kevin is very detail oriented and strives to design in a simple and effective manner, while focusing on fulfilling the needs of the project and addressing the concerns of sustainability. Through working on a wide range of projects, including government and secure spaces, breweries, institutional and educational projects he enjoys coordination among disciplines to create exciting and efficient designs.

Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and walking his golden retriever. His art history background has turned him into a passionate art museum visitor and art collector.

Jhulini Moraes

Jhulini is an Architectural Senior Designer. A native of Brazil, she brings with her a unique international vision that allows her to see and apply architecture from multiple perspectives. Her motivation comes from the idea that architecture can positively effects everyone’s daily life for the better. She works across all phases of the architectural design process, from field surveys to Construction Documents.

Jhulini has worked with architecture since high school in a part time position as a drafter. While working for a multinational architectural glass company, she gained immense experience with national and international glass specification. She received her degree in Architectural and Urbanism in 2017 from the University of Guarulhos. As soon as she finished college, she moved to the United States in a search for new challenges and experiences. Jhulini believes that in front of every challenge there is an opportunity for professional growth.

During Jhulini’s free time, she enjoys traveling to new places, cooking Brazilian cuisine, spending time with her family and friends, and enjoying the soccer games of her favorite team “Corinthians” (Brazil).

Greg Baldwin

Greg joined Arium in 2011, adding an experienced electrical designer to the firm’s growing engineering team.

He brings six years of mechanical and electrical design experience covering a variety of projects, including residences, shopping centers and retail, restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and SCIFs.

His goal is to create elegant designs that meet the aesthetic needs of the client as well as provide energy efficient solutions and improve building functionality. Lighting directly influences one’s perception of a space, and he works closely with the architect to ensure the client achieves the ideal architectural vision through lighting.

In his free time, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, BBQing on the weekends, and rooting for the Baltimore Ravens and Maryland Terrapins.

Eric Hoskins

Eric joined Arium in February 2009. He is well versed in HVAC and plumbing design and has a substantial amount of electrical design experience as well.

Eric has more than 18 years of experience in mechanical and electrical drafting and mechanical and plumbing design across a diverse project portfolio.

Emily Mee

Emily is responsible for the financial tasks of the company and helps by processing accounts receivable, accounts payable, analyzing G/L’s, and assisting with the budget.

In the past, she’s worked for both a public accounting firm and a government contractor completing audits, compiling financial statements and putting together account reconciliations.

Emily strives to ensure Arium’s front desk is a happy place.

In her free time, you can find Emily watching her favorite sports teams, listening to music or enjoying quality time with friends and family.

Don Matthews, Jr.

Don is referred to as the in-house permit expediter, staying current on the ever-changing permitting processes in the various regional jurisdictions and is key player in Arium’s commitment to providing our clients with an efficient and expeditious permitting process. He joined Arium as a summer intern in 2007 and became a full-time employee in May 2008.

He brings more than six years of architectural design experience in project management, space planning, and field surveys in commercial office, warehouse, and retail spaces.

When Don has free time he enjoys home improvement shows, participating in televised game shows, and rooting for his beloved “Washimore RavSkin” football teams.

Colin Smith

Colin is an original member of the team hired to create Arium’s engineering department. He has special interest in providing budget-minded and energy-efficient solutions.

He has vast experience in complex projects including commercial buildings, hospitals, pump stations, data centers, and restaurants. Colin has more than 20 years in experience designing lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems for new or renovated building projects.

Colin enjoys playing table tennis during the winter months and softball cricket during the summer. He loves travelling in the Caribbean.
