On the Boards: Frisco Tap House & Brewery
Arium is providing full AE design services for the newest Frisco Tap House & Brewery at the Villages of Waugh Chapel in Crofton, Maryland. Currently under construction, this location will open with 100 Taps and a rotating selection of in-season brews.
Being vacant for five years, the existing building presented a host of challenges. The complete interior, including fixtures, furniture and walls, was gutted to provide a clean slate for the new restaurant to build upon. Arium’s design was able to merge the goals of the client with the bones of the existing building for a new tap house that has an energizing vibe.
The bright copper accents behind the bar, the VIP Lounge with curved ceiling and illuminated glass bubbles, tin copper ceilings in separate dining areas and the motorcycles hung from the ceiling certainly give new life to this old restaurant space.
Frisco Tap House & Brewery follows the wildly successful launch of our design for Columbia’s first production brewery, Jailhouse Brewing Company, Arium is quickly becoming the go-to architect to meet the highly specialized needs of the fast-growing Mid-Atlantic craft-brewing industry.
