Arium AE transformed an existing prefabricated metal building into a luxury used vehicle showroom and service facility.

After over 50 years in use as an RV and Camping Center, this two story structure went under a complete exterior and interior transformation. The new home of ExclusiveMotorcars features a beautiful new vehicle showroom and sales floor, office space upstairs, and garage service bays for photography, washing and repair.

Music and Arts

Arium AE began working with Music and Arts representatives from the onset of the project to assist with the conceptualization of a collaborative space that met today’s modern office standards but could also accommodate Music and Arts’ technical studio requirements. The project team selected a three-story office at 5295 Westview Drive that had recently undergone exterior façade improvements as new Music and Arts’ new home. One floor was allocated for current and future office staff and a portion of the second floor was slated for a music studio and information technology equipment. Being able to occupy 1.5 floors of the building gave Music and Arts the flexibility to create the collaborative work space they desired. Equally important, the space provided ample access to daylight and views of the western mountains and to the community they serve.

New 2017 NEC Meeting Room Requirements. Here’s what you need to know.

A common directive we hear from clients during the design development phase is that they need electrical receptacles laid out in the space as required by code. It might be a surprise for some to hear that the National Electrical Code does not include specific outlet layout or minimum quantity requirements for receptacles in non-residential spaces.

With the introduction of the 2017 NEC, that is about to change.

Supreme Core Cider

Establishments like Manor Hill Brewery, Oliver Brewing Company, Hysteria Brewing Company, and Capitol Cider House to name a few. Recently, Arium helped design Supreme Core Cider’s Taproom; Washington D.C.’s second Cidery production facility and tasting room.

Bringing Cider to Washington DC

Over the past few years, Arium’s helped bring dozens of start-up breweries to the region. As the craft beverage market continues to expand, it’s with great pleasure we announce our first Cidery. Capitol Cider House will be opening in the Petworth region of Washington DC on Georgia Ave in 2018. Arium’s “brewer’s table” design concept beat out a number of design firms competing for this exciting project.
