New Arium AE Designed Howard Observatory Opens This Weekend

Arium’s proud to announce this weekend’s opening of Howard County’s new observatory at Alpha Ridge Community Park.

Arium provided full architecture and engineering design services for the new observatory which houses one of the two existing Watson Telescopes built by Baltimore machinist Joseph Woods. The new Howard Astronomical League Observatory is open to the public. While all our projects have a special place in our hearts, we’re exceptionally pleased with our role in allowing future generations the ability to gaze into space with this significant piece of history.
