FLL Robotics Team
Arium is the proud sponsor of a First Lego League (FLL) Robotics Team. This program introduces children to various STEM related fields. In addition to engineering and computer programming the program develops a range of critical soft-skills such as: team work, communications and public speaking.
Each team researches a real-world problem such as: food safety, recycling, energy and are challenged to develop a solution. They also design, build, and program a robot that must complete various tasks that competes against other teams at regional competitions.
Our very own Scott Walthour, Managing Principal at Arium, is a team coach and mentor. He often boasts that team sessions are one of the highlights of his week and how is blown away by the creativity and out of the box solutions designed by the students.
