Arium AE is Now Hiring a Licensed Mechanical Engineer
Arium AE, an energetic architecture and engineering design firm with 36 years of expertise, is seeking an experienced registered professional engineer (PE) to provide engineering that will include mechanical design as part of our design studio. We are a friendly, well-established design practice with commercial, industrial, institutional, and government projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our integrated studio provides a full range of services from schematic design to construction administration on a wide range of new construction and interior renovation projects. Our project types include commercial offices, retail, industrial, data centers, secure government facilities, institutional facilities, laboratories, restaurants, and breweries.

We support our client’s needs through the following engineering service offerings: Conceptual Design & Scope Development, Cost Estimation, Economic Evaluations, including Energy Modeling, LEED Documentation, Construction Documents, Construction Administration Services, and Start-up and Commissioning. The perfect candidate should have proven capabilities in all phases of design, experience leading the development of Construction and Permit Documents, and experience performing Construction Administration services.

- Supportive of other engineers or project managers
- Capable of directing CAD designers and other engineers in the preparation of construction drawings
- Willing to supervise the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings from junior team members
- Able to interpret applicable codes
Applicant minimum requirements:
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology
- P.E. License (preferred)
- 7-10+ years of experience working in an A/E or MEP firm
- Strong AutoCAD and/or Revit capabilities required
- Provide own transportation to local project sites
- Must be Legal to work in the U.S.
